Apparently, there was a rash of apartment complext robberies in the 
Dallas/Fort Worth area that were all perpetrated with the help of bump 
keys. Heard about it on NPR. The story's more about the detective work 
than the technology/mechanics of bump keys. In fact, they leave out key 
bits about how to make a bump key in the story, as if you couldn't find 
out all about it from googling for 'bump key'.
