[dc401-l] Recap of 10 Sept Meeting

It was raining, it was a Monday. 11 or 12 people showed. Not bad.  
Let's do better next month.
Which brings to mind, as Modus reminded me, that next month's meeting  
falls on Columbus Day.
No work for some, so no reason not to come, eh?

We all chatted while we waited for folks to arrive.
I explained the concept of what a DCG is to everyone who didn't know  
already.
We talked about objectives: The bowling shirt idea was fairly well  
received, as was the concept of getting a hacker space going.
After I got done muttering random expletives from the front of the  
room, we all talked some more and then things broke up for the night.  
It was kind of quiet. I think next month people will need more beer  
to get talking.

Now comes the part where I look around for people to talk. I'd really  
like to hear from at least a few of you so I can line up a couple of  
talks in advance. Solved a problem with a good hack? Built something  
cool? Fashioned a Mudkip love doll? Slap together some slides and  
talk about it.
