In the immortal words of Kurt Kohle:
> I'd be glad to spend some time doing freelance work for AS220.

  Hey DC401-l,

I just wanted to clear something up, because my original post may
have been misleading. The work would not be for AS220, it would be
for my day job at a vaccine research lab located in the Jewelry
District. I posted to the list from my AS220 address, not my work
address, because I generally don't use my work account for mailing
lists. I used to work for AS220, up until about two years ago, and
I continue to do volunteer sysadmin work for them -- but rest
assured that my former boss at AS220 (Shawn Wallace) totally knows
his way around the refurbished hardware troubleshooting realm.
Besides, the overqualified Brandon Edens is working for AS220 now.

I just think it's ridiculous that the boss at my day job (the CIO
of a small, but successful, biotech firm) thinks he should be
cutting corners and using the kind of hardware you'd expect to see
donated to a non-profit! :) Anyway, I'll be contacting Kurt
off-list, this time from my work address. Thanks to everyone who
responded for your input and advice, though nobody else seemed
      interested in the freelance work.

P.S. Dang it, I missed the meeting again! I think I'll be able to
attend more regularly AFTER my wedding this July ... the
wedding planning stuff takes up a lot of my "free time."
