This month we have Rich MacVarish coming up from the middle Atlantic states to give us a talk based on some work he's recently done with SCADA security. Rich recently had an opportunity to pen-test and audit a new SCADA firewall product. He'll be talking about the results of that work and what you shouldn't do when you implement a security product. Since the DC401 meetings are held on the first weds of the month, and since most of the DC401 regulars will already be in Vegas on the 6th, we decided not to have an August meeting. We should have the weekly Tuesday night hack sessions going on in the AS220 Lab, as I think Brandon, who generally hosts those, is not going to Con. As for upcoming meetings, we've got a Common LISP advocacy talk happening in September that promises to be pretty interesting.
