I believe the original article indicated that the tags would be attached
to the kid's backpacks.... which seemed even more than stupid.
here is the first paragraph:
"A Rhode Island school district has announced a pilot program to monitor
student movements by means of radio frequency identification (RFID) chips
implanted in their schoolbags."
"the hell with where the kid is, I want to know where his shit is..."
guess it is just to eliminate the "I forgot my books" excuse
